Corethree introduce m-wallet with versatile mobile payment options to the UK

Corethree are pleased to release a new, secure and versatile mobile payment infrastructure for clients with solutions built on Core Engine, their scalable and flexible mobile application platform.

Using a patent-pending set of technologies designed to provide the most flexible solution possible, the Core Engine m-wallet allows end users to register their payment card details once, and re-use them securely across multiple services, payment providers and merchant banks without sacrificing crucial PCI DSS compliance. No pre-pay account is required, and the solution is independent of any one provider. Corethree’s payment integration module is compatible with any mainstream transaction processor, including WorldPay, SecureTrading, CreditCall, RealEx and PayPal.

This new secure, trusted and convenient "mobile wallet" eliminates the need to carry cash, credit or debit cards, loyalty cards, coupons, vouchers, tickets and smartcards, and changes the way organisations within transport, retail and many other industry sectors can interact with their customers. Simple to use, customers download the free "Core" app from the App Store, Google Play, or BlackBerry App World, create an account and register their payment details. Once registered, they can browse, bookmark and purchase products and services with a fast entry of their CV2 code. Payment is immediate, and all activity is logged and audited for financial and business intelligence reporting.

Independence from any single payment provider means that Corethree's clients are free to switch providers and optimise processing fees at any time, and incoming transactions will be sent directly to their own merchant bank account, bypassing third-party payment services. The solution is fully PCI DSS compliant, with end-to-end security, and is available today.

The solution is already deployed to clients in the transport and charity sectors. Core Engine-powered apps work on all major smartphone devices, across all major networks and with all major debit and credit cards.
