Watford, September 2014: Corethree, the leaders in mobile ticketing technology, today announce a new partnership with mobile payment experts Boku. The partnership will bring a huge benefit to consumers who will be able to charge their bus tickets direct to their mobile through the existing mobile application built by Corethree.
Ashley Murdoch, CEO Corethree says
"This is a landmark partnership for Corethree that brings mobile payments to bus ticketing. Boku's offer fits seamlessly with our own technology and will bring great opportunities to our clients and their customers. We are constantly evolving our business to bring ever greater opportunities to our clients and this is another very positive step in our journey."
With this partnership, consumers gain the ability to charge bus ticket purchases directly to their mobile phone bill from within a mobile app without the need for a credit or debit card. Consumers simply select Mobile as their payment method of choice before completing the purchase from within the app. The charge appears on the consumer's carrier bill or is deducted from their prepaid balance using Boku's e-money product.
Jon Prideaux, CEO Boku says,
"We're delighted to be working with Corethree. It's a great alignment for us and brings mobile payments into a new territory. We're excited about our partnership and the opportunities it will bring."
The two companies will work together on a number of solutions for clients in the mobile ticketing area as well as looking at opportunities to expand the technology further into new areas.
