Building on the back of a hugely successful year, UK technologists Corethree have been nominated as finalists in two separate categories in this year's highly competitive Effective Mobile Marketing Awards.
The awards attracted almost 250 entries, and over the past six weeks the judging panel have been knee-deep in the best apps, mobile sites, ad campaigns, location-based services and other great work, trying to sort the excellent from the merely very good.
"I know it's what the chair of every judging panel says about any awards programme, but the standard of entries this year has been unbelievably high,"
said David Murphy, chair of the judging panel.
"There are several categories where a number of very good entries have not made the cut, simply because of the quality they were up against."
Corethree's work in the m-commerce sector has already been recognised many times and is once again the foundation for these nominations.
The first category they are finalists for is Most Effective Mobile Payment Solution. Corethree mobile commerce solutions allow users to pay for goods and services across the vast majority of smartphones, on all major networks, using any of the major credit and debit cards and, via its game-changing partnership with Barclays, integrates Barclays Pingit as a payment method.
The second shortlisting was for Most Effective Mobile Ticketing Solution, specifically for the hugely successful roll-out of the Brighton and Hove Buses m-ticketing system. The solution has already created impressive growth for the client as well as generating turnover that is in the millions of pounds.

The winners will be announced at the Awards Ceremony on 28th November 2013 at The London Film Museum.
