Corethree have reached the final of the Innovation World Cup 2014 at this year’s Cloud World Forum. Corethree’s halo product Core Engine, a cloud based, SaaS, meta-platform upon which market leading mobility smart-solutions are built, has been highly praised for its innovative and game changing capabilities in the transport sector.
Following an exciting evaluation phase, Corethree’s m-ticketing solution is one of 18 global solutions chosen as aspirants for the title "Cloud Innovator of the Year". The finalists have been placed into the following categories: ICT Business Services, Urban Infrastructure, Smart Living, Industry 4.0, Mobility, and for the special prizes "Evolve Insurance Award" and "Geo Award".
Corethree’s mobile transport solution technology, which has already won a number of awards, is a finalist in the Mobility category as the leader in transportation. Corethree have successfully marketed smart-technology solutions into various transport sectors including, trains, buses, electric vehicles and trams, leading the field with such systems in the UK. They will be up against two US companies who specialise in automotive and navigation.
The finalists will be awarded at the official award ceremony during the Cloud World Forum in the Olympia National Hall London, on 17th June 2014.
Initiated by Navispace, the Innovation World Cup Series was first launched in 2009. The Cloud Innovation World Cup aims to foster innovative solutions and applications for cloud computing. Contestants from all over the world are welcome to submit their cloud solutions and applications. An international panel of industry experts will select the most innovative solutions according to criteria such as level of innovation, marketability, and usability.
